Piazza!!!

Is it time to drop Piazza? I have not heard word if he is gone for the year.

I just did. I weighed my options...have Piazza for maybe a month, a month and a half or have a decent mid-tier catcher for the rest of the season. I might play the hot free agent catcher pick-up game too or play match-ups. I play in a weekly trans, 5x5 league and can start 2 catchers. This week I grabbed G Myers as he will be facing all righties this week. I know his avg. will decline drastically but I hope he may stay hot for a week or 2. Next, maybe I'll try Toby Hall, then maybe Vance Wilson. I pulled a groin and it took me more than a year to fully recover and it wasn't as bad as Pizza man.

My advice drop him and let someone else waste a roster spot on him...
