Lyon (elbow) played catch yesterday and was painless afterward. He threw from 60 feet for six minutes before the game.
With Brian Bruney struggling, Greg Aquino back from the DL, and trade rumors of Jose Mesa going to Arizona, it will be interesting to see how Lyon figures into the equation when he returns.

I gave up on him the moment it became a 60 day DL stint. There's just other options usually out there in a 12 team league for people that pay attention.

I could see keeping him in a h2h league if you didn't have anyone you wanted to pick up...he's just wasting roster space on a roto team though IMO...if you don't have a dl spot for him I'd drop him now.
