Spivey traded for Okha.
i had Okha pitching tonight for my squad. Bummer. Dropped him before the trade for next period.
So, is the Weeks era set to begin?

I think Weeks starting at 2B for the Brew Crew as early as tomorrow qualifies as a player update or player news.

It will be tough to live up to the hype, but I can't wait to see him play. And I am not even a Brewers fan.

I picked him up. He will be on my bench until further notice.

I own Reyes (2B- SS) and Furcal (SS). I'll use him on my benck to start and we'll see how he does.

But, for sure, the potential is there.

Is he going to play right away? I read he is being called up but Bill Hall has been playing well lately. Anyone have more info on this?

Brewers recalled second baseman Rickie Weeks from Triple-A Nashville.
Weeks, who was hitting .320/.435/.655 with 10 SB for Nashville, will take over as the Brewers' starting second baseman, keeping Bill Hall at shortstop and J.J. Hardy on the bench most days. He should have plenty of fantasy value, though there's no guarantee he'll hit immediately. Jun. 11 - 1:16 am et

Like i said in another thread here, you're not recalling a player with such talent to keep him on your bench. Otherwise they would had him play on a daily basis in AAA. I think he will be the Brewers's second baseman for the rest of the season. But it would be a good idea to wait and see how he reacts to major league pitching.

I will bench him for the first couple of days. But if Furcal is not waking up quickly, he could end up switching position with Weeks in my lineup!

weeks went 2-4 with a rbi from the 2 hole tonight so i think he can contribute right away. good idea to pick him up.
