This is not good news for Vidro owners unless they plan on using Spivey as a SS, then it is good news b/c C. Guz sucks.

Bah, there is no way Spivey steals time from Vidro. I wouldnt be afraid.

What's the story with this Rickie Weeks kid. Is he the real deal or are we looking at another BJ Upton situation here.

na, weeks wasnt rushed to the bigs like upton was. weeks was drafted out of college so he's a bit more polished a player. upton was 19 and skipped many levels last year to get to the bigs. uptons glove just wasnt ready for the bigs yet.
2 things:
-spivey was weeks block to the bigs.. the trade indicates MIL's confidence in weeks.
-weeks AAA manager believes he will hit 40 HRs in the bigs one day.
