...so, maybe putz. nobody mentioned shiggy hasegawa, perhaps because he had the closers role briefly (last year? year before? can't remember) and stunk up the joint. might he get another shot?

Hasegawa filled in during '03, after Sasaki tripped over his luggage. Did quite well at the time, but then last year blew up (start to finish).
After this last road swing, it doesn't look like anyone in the Mariners' pen can get an out. Right now, it's anyone's guess.
