Kearns or Glaus???

Postby phillyphanatic » Sun Jun 01, 2003 11:58 pm

I have pujols at third right now and kearns in outfield with patterson,b. giles, and Beltran...on my bench I have glaus...should I sit kearns and stick glaus at third and pujols in the outfield or let Kearns start and ride out his slump?

In your situation, just play whoever you feel is hot. Your gonna miss an awakening but you'll win if you ride the streak.

keep Kearns in the lineup EVERY DAY

Why would you bench the leading RBI hitter in the NL???

I would bench Patterson and put Glaus at third and Pujols in the outfield.

Patterson
34 Runs, 11 HR, 42 RBI, 9 SB and .313 avg

Glaus
35 Runs, 11 HR, 34 RBI, 6 SB and 291 avg

I'd keep Glaus on the bench for now. Patterson is outperforming him now but he slumped big time in the second half last year.
