A usually day for me in Vegas is all about the day/night splits
Start with breakfast buffet at Ballys. Best on the strip. Play 5.00 Keno. Keno gives you a chance to flirt, as usually the Keno girls are cute and in a skirt. Just don't buy from the ugly ones, and you'll be golden by the end of the day. trust me.
Then taxi down to Stardust for some craps until noon. For some reason all of the experienced Vegas Vets tend to be here in the morning. I have never lost at a Stardust Craps table in the mornings. Never! And that is a lot of visits. Oh and you learn a ton from Vets, so that is a plus. (Play 5.00 Keno)
Since you are midway down the strip by now, finding a cheap lunch should not be a problem at all. 2.99 steak and eggs anybody? Slots a Plenty? (Play 5.00 Keno)
Taxi downtown, and make a few sports bets. The sport depends upon the season. Downtown also has the cheap tables, so I will poke around and maybe take in a game of 3/6 or 2.00 blackjack if I can find a cheap table. (Play 5.00 Keno)
Then I will taxi up to Caesars Palace. I generally spend the rest of my day here. I will work my way back and forth between Caesars, the Mirage and "that Pirate one" (inside Joke) playing Craps, 3/6, Pai-Gow, and Blackjack. I never play slots. I play 5.00 Keno instead. (Play 5.00 Keno).
Time for a "sober up" 2 hour nap. (Put Keno tickets in suitcase)
Dinner is usually at any number of places. Each and every Casino has a Dinner house and I love to try them out. I rarely do shows, unless it is a cheap comedian. I have no desire to pay 100.00 to see some people paint them selves blue and break dance. (Play 5.00 Keno)
Now its is time for the Hard Rock. Fireball is Right! Hard Rock is the chit. Even acsguitar could get laid here, well maybe. I will spend the rest of the evening drinking and lying, drinking and lying, and trying to drink more, in hopes of remembering my lies. I will usually be up on my "Game" thou, cause I have been practicing while playing 5.00 Keno all day.
Wake up!
Never ask whose room it is. (You do not want to know)
Never ask where your shirt is. (You do not want to know)
Never ask how you got to your room. (You do not want to know)
find Keno tickets and put in your suitcase.
Repeat 3 times!
Now, Mook is right. My patience level for Vegas is 3 days, and then I just have to go! I have been hundreds of times, and that pretty much mirrors my day, everyday, for three days then Adios.
Some don’ts ..
* do not play at MGM, Paris or New York New York. I have never won there, and I have yet to meet somebody who has won there on a regular basis.
* do not take the flyer from the people handing them out on the street. It only opens the door to an argument.
* If you find yourself downtown at night. Do not wander off the strip, no matter how hammered you are. You really do not need that soda from the quickie mart over there. Ya just don't
As for the Keno tickets. Pay them no attention what so ever, but do pick them up where ever you go, like religion.
When you get home, you can call, or even check online to see if any of them hit.
There is no greater feeling than to find out that one stupid keno ticket from that adorable little Keno girl at Ballys with the fine ass, ended up paying for your whole Vegas trip. Happens to me 7 out of 10 times. No joke!
Hope that helps.
Also, if it is your first time there, spend one of the days at the Grand Canyon . Chances are you will remember that more than Vegas.
