HARD ROCK!

Hands down, my favorite place in Vegas.
Great pool. Nothing like sitting in the pool and playing a hand of BlackJack.
Every woman that works there is way hot.
You never know who you'll run into. It's the place where celebs go.

Oh and they have a small sports book/bar there. That's where I spent a lot of my time (and money).

Nobu Japanese restaurant is located there too. I had Artic Char there for the fist time. The sushi and rolls are out of this world too.

Never gets old for me. Wake up late, have a nice meal, go sit on a poker table for 8-12 hours, go have another nice meal and drinks, go up to the room that was cleaned up by someone else, enjoy a nice jacuzzi while catching the sports updates, and sleep like a baby. All for free thanks to the wonderful casino comps (actually with more money than I started with thanks to all the people in the world that have no business sitting down at a poker table). I don't think it's possible for that to ever get old for me. B-)

I recommend play craps at the Palms. That place is the best for a good game of craps. The bellagio is also good but the chips and tables rock at the palms

I couldn't tell you about the Vegas one, but the Hard Rocks I've been to SUCKED. Overpriced, crummy food that I could have gotten for like 15 bucks cheaper, and overpriced, crummy merchandise to boot. Never eating there again if I don't have to.

I'm talking about The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino located just off the strip. There is a Hard Rock Cafe nearby. Yes, being in the food business, I have to agree w/ you that the food at the HR Cafes pretty much suck. The Hotel/Casino is a horse of a different color. I'd show you pics but as a rule of thumb I never bring a camera to Vegas.

Celebs spotted/met at the Hard Rock by FE: David Navaro, Carmen Electra, Craig Kilborn and Karch Kariye (Sp? the Gold Medal Volleyball dude).

A usually day for me in Vegas is all about the day/night splits

Start with breakfast buffet at Ballys. Best on the strip. Play 5.00 Keno. Keno gives you a chance to flirt, as usually the Keno girls are cute and in a skirt. Just don't buy from the ugly ones, and you'll be golden by the end of the day. trust me.

Then taxi down to Stardust for some craps until noon. For some reason all of the experienced Vegas Vets tend to be here in the morning. I have never lost at a Stardust Craps table in the mornings. Never! And that is a lot of visits. Oh and you learn a ton from Vets, so that is a plus. (Play 5.00 Keno)

Since you are midway down the strip by now, finding a cheap lunch should not be a problem at all. 2.99 steak and eggs anybody? Slots a Plenty? (Play 5.00 Keno)

Taxi downtown, and make a few sports bets. The sport depends upon the season. Downtown also has the cheap tables, so I will poke around and maybe take in a game of 3/6 or 2.00 blackjack if I can find a cheap table. (Play 5.00 Keno)

Then I will taxi up to Caesars Palace. I generally spend the rest of my day here. I will work my way back and forth between Caesars, the Mirage and "that Pirate one" (inside Joke) playing Craps, 3/6, Pai-Gow, and Blackjack. I never play slots. I play 5.00 Keno instead. (Play 5.00 Keno).

Time for a "sober up" 2 hour nap. (Put Keno tickets in suitcase)

Dinner is usually at any number of places. Each and every Casino has a Dinner house and I love to try them out. I rarely do shows, unless it is a cheap comedian. I have no desire to pay 100.00 to see some people paint them selves blue and break dance. (Play 5.00 Keno)

Now its is time for the Hard Rock. Fireball is Right! Hard Rock is the chit. Even acsguitar could get laid here, well maybe. I will spend the rest of the evening drinking and lying, drinking and lying, and trying to drink more, in hopes of remembering my lies. I will usually be up on my "Game" thou, cause I have been practicing while playing 5.00 Keno all day. ;-7

Wake up!

Never ask whose room it is. (You do not want to know)
Never ask where your shirt is. (You do not want to know)
Never ask how you got to your room. (You do not want to know)

find Keno tickets and put in your suitcase.

Repeat 3 times!

Now, Mook is right. My patience level for Vegas is 3 days, and then I just have to go! I have been hundreds of times, and that pretty much mirrors my day, everyday, for three days then Adios.

Some don’ts ..
* do not play at MGM, Paris or New York New York. I have never won there, and I have yet to meet somebody who has won there on a regular basis.
* do not take the flyer from the people handing them out on the street. It only opens the door to an argument.
* If you find yourself downtown at night. Do not wander off the strip, no matter how hammered you are. You really do not need that soda from the quickie mart over there. Ya just don't

As for the Keno tickets. Pay them no attention what so ever, but do pick them up where ever you go, like religion.
When you get home, you can call, or even check online to see if any of them hit.
There is no greater feeling than to find out that one stupid keno ticket from that adorable little Keno girl at Ballys with the fine ass, ended up paying for your whole Vegas trip. Happens to me 7 out of 10 times. No joke!

Hope that helps.

Also, if it is your first time there, spend one of the days at the Grand Canyon . Chances are you will remember that more than Vegas.

Cool writeup WR! ;-D

Here's a really dumb question from a person who obviously doesn't play Keno............If you call or check online, and you actually won something decent, how do you get paid? Have to go back and cash it in person, or will they wire transfer it, or mail a check, or something?

Just curious since I'll be checking out the $5 Keno and the nice butts in short skirts on my next trip. ;-D :-D

lol ..

Yep I don't play the slots.
Just play Keno. Keno is my slots, only better.
Oh and always make sure one of the numbers picked is the Keno Girls age, date of birth or some how related to her phone number. and let her know it too.

As for the Keno tickets. You mail them in and they will mail you a check.
I never go for the big ones. 5 or 6 numbers will usually do. Its depends upon the casino or the game.

Also, shows aren't my thing, but I love a good comedian. Here is a list of them going on during your stay. Vegas.com

and here is a link for some Grand Canyon tours

Also I need to add one more item to myAVOID list.

Hope ya have a blast ;-D
