Hey everyone....

I'm heading to Vegas with my girlfriend on Monday for a week, anyone have any must see suggestions? Tips on anything? I'd really appreciate anything that anyone has been there has to say, I want this trip to rock. B-)

Thanks.

My only suggestion would be to leave the girlfriend at home and bring a buddy. ;-D

It really depends on what you want to do, and what your budget is.
Wherever you are staying, just ask the front desk for suggestions. They will give you info on basically anything you are looking to do.

LOL! This seems to be the common sentiment from most.

The times I went to Vegas were almost always about gambling, not the other stuff. When I'm there, I try to find a casino with the craps and blackjack tables I like, and I tend to just do some playing. I'm not big on the attractions. That's really why I don't bother to go to vegas anymore. I can drive two hours to Foxwoods or Mohegan Sun in Connecticut for a gambling experience as good as any on the Vegas Strip.

My advice, however, is to look for the good shows that are playing. Singers, bands, comics, magic acts, etc. Those are often a good value. The rooms aren't too big, so you usually have a great seat no matter what. And ask the hotel conceriege for restaurant advice. There are SO MANY restaurants that it helps to get some expert advice.

Have fun.

Thank you. This is most helpful. I plan on spending the majority of my casino time playing texas hold em, either small limit 3/6 or a low buy in NL table (100 bucks or so if I get brave). I definitely will ask about th restaurants, and my girl and I want to take in a show or two. Sounds like a plan. Thanks again.
