Early picks for MVP?

Miguel Cabrera? He was my preseason pick to finish 2nd behind Pujols. So I'll stick with them finishing 1-2.

In the AL, I picked Hafner to finish in the top 5 so screw that... I also took ARod to win so I'll stick with that.

I think Cabrera has a very good shot at finishing 2nd behind Pujols, especially if the Marlins start playing like they're capable.

Pujols will win the NL, Lee is hitting way too far over his head, he won't keep this up.

Arod or Tejada will win the AL. Tejada wins it if Baltimore makes the playoffs, otherwise Arod(assuming yankees make playoffs).

BB doesn't want to admit that Tejada is the likely AL MVP at this point ;-)

What about Chavez if he leads Oak to the playoffs? :-D

I've said it time and time again. If Chavez were on the Orioles, he'd be putting up Tejada's numbers, and vice versa. But yes, if voting ended right now, it would be a tossup between Miguel Tejada and ARod. In fact, Tejada should win the award.

My darkhorse candidate for AL MVP is actually Vladimir Guerrero. I think he comes on really strong in the 2nd half and leads the Angels to the division title again...

Tex might win HR and RBI, but there's no way either of them win the Triple Crown.
