Early picks for MVP?

Who do you think will win the MVP at the end of the year? I ask because my leagues pays out for having the MVP and since I likely will nto finish in the money, I want to gamble and make a lopsided trade to get a legit MVP candidate.

(In order of where I think they currently fall)

NL:

1.) Derrek Lee - Carrying his team. Possible triple crown winner.

2.) Pujols - the offensive leader on the best team in baseball.

3.) Bobby Abreu - Possible 30/30 guy this season. Plays on a losing team, alhtough on a hot streak now


AL:

1.) Tejada - Another 150 rbi season? Plus Baltimore has an outside chance of winning the division

2.) Teixeira - on pace for 100+ runs, 40+ HR, 120+ RBI.

3.) Ortiz - How many walk off HRs does this guy have? Leading the Boston offense right now.

Tejada has the fact that hes playing on a winning team and is an RBI machine to boot. Baltimore has more then an outside chance of winning the division so I think he would me my favriot in the AL. In the NL, with no Barry its Pujols' world and were just living in it.

At the end of the year I wouldn't be surprised to see a 40/40 Abreu edge out Pujols in the NL.

In the AL, if the Yankees make their comeback, it'll be A-rod. If not, Tejada.

Pujols is the odds-on favorite to win the MVP in the NL. The BBWAA has been looking for an excuse to give Pujols the MVP for 4 years now, but Bonds has blocked his path.

Barring a complete letdown, Pujols will win it. He's too good across the board, he plays on a first place team. Lee is going to cool off and that, combined with the fact that the Cubbies are gonna be lucky to finish higher than 3rd in that division, should make way for Pujols to win his first of many MVP awards this year.
