I have yet to read this book. Is it worth reading or is it crap?

its a must read if you want to be able to speak intelligently on current events in baseball, regardless of how much you agree or disagree with what is written.

And maybe then you will finally dump your irrational love of Corey Patterson :-b

Great book. I wouldn't call it a must-read, but it sure is entertaining. Took me about 3 days to read.

i think it's worth reading it...beane is quite a character...he took 6 high schoolers in the first 9 picks yesterday...

it won't take you long to finish the book. ;-D

Cool maybe I will give it a try.

Check out this recipe for Kimchi Chigae:-b

1 head Chinese Cabbage Kimchi, which is preferrably a little sour
120g (0.2 pounds) pork
1 cup white rice bread
1 sheath scallion
1 spoon minced garlic
4 cups boiled bone or anchovy soup

@ flavorings
3 spoons ground chili
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1/2 teaspoon minced iginger

i know you grew up on newfoundland...you still in canada? you should come to toronto some time...there are some good korean restaurants. ;-D

Actually I grew up near Peterborough, ON. The breeding ground of professional hockey players. I now live in Oakville, ON which is to Toronto what Westchester/White Plains is to NY. ;-D
