Yahoo Public League question, please help

Right now I have oswalt at DL and havn't taken him off of it, I just accepeted a trade where I gave 4 players and receive 2. Do I still need to move him out of DL in order for the trade to go through or Will it go through as it is because I'm giving up more players?

So having a healthy Oswalt at DL during this process isn't an "illegal" situation? Cause it won't let me pickup players etc when he's there unless I drop someone to move him out.

It shouldn't be...since you're trading for two less players, I would believe that it's ok. It's different when you're picking from the WW or trading straight up, since he's "illegal" and would take you over the roster limit.

And I'm sure it would have told you that you had to drop a player or something to that effect when the trade was accepted.

I haven't actually had this situation happen, but I don't see how the trade could be accepted if it was a problem.

Maybe someone can speak from experience that knows 100%.

I can't speak from XP, but how in the hell did you put that roster together in Yahoo Public?! That is one hellacious team, and now you are upgrading it even more. Dude, are you Jedi mind-tricking people or what?

I'd have Berkman playing instead of Pierre. Berkman has been on fire the past week, and he is doing it again today.

some of the players from waiver, like just got berkman off waivers today so have to put him in tomorrow. Did some trading w/ quantity for quality.

So can anyone confirm whether I need to move oswalt out of DL first?

After the trade, you will have 2 free roster spots. You can move Oswalt off the DL at that point. You will then be allowed to pick up an additional player to complete your roster.

YAHOO! will prompt you to make a move, if needed, to get a legal roster during a trade offer.
