Does anyone think he is going to start closing anytime soon?
I am dying for saves and he just hit the wire. I know MacDougal has been doing well as of late, but he has always had control problems...
Fantasy sports are ruled by the 50-50-90 rule...
Anytime you have a 50/50 choice between two players, 90% of the time, you'll get it wrong

"Soon" depends on MacDougal blowing up ... and probably several times.
Unlike his predecessor, Bell has indicated no tolerance for the whole committee approach to finishing games. He's flat-out said Mac is his guy, and I don't see him ordering up a plate of crow in the immediate future.
• Aaron Hill: Avoids DL Jul 12 (RotoWire)
• Aaron Hill: Headed for DL Jul 12 (RotoWire)

Actually, the pitching coach gave MacDougal the vote of confidence. Bell didn't even pick that guy as his coach, so my guess is when MacDougal blows 2 or 3 in a row by walking everybody, he'll get the hook. Royals management has always had a monster hard-on for Affeldt. I'd pick him up if you have a spot filled with dead weight.

I'll have to disagree. I see Affeldt eventually in long relief if he stays in KC. The fact they have kept Burgos with the parent club rather than send him down indicates to me he's their back up closer.

Not to mention KC might win 20 more games if they are lucky, not exactly a hot bed for future saves.
