He's been solid of late. Last time, it was reported Bernero was CL and we all rushed to grab him. Joke on us. Do you think Cox trusts Reitsma? Any word from post game or insider info from ATL fans.

How would you rank them for a 12 team standard 5x5 mixed non keeper league?

i've been happy with Reitsma as a middle reliever all season long- the saves now are just groovy. He's a solid pitcher who was having a bit of trouble in some sticky situations (hence the high ERA). He'll continue to do well in the role as long as they don't try to get Kolb back into the job.

And Yanks has it right on the ranking ;-D

Reitsma is a on a nice run, and enjoy it while it lasts, but I still see Atlanta dealing for a closer at the deadline, pushing him back to setup.
Yanks rankings are right on for the near future though, and probably the rest of the year. The others aren't likely to get/keep the job for the year.
You're right, Wagner would be higher if only he was closing. And he would be closing if he didn't get blasted for a 4-6 ER inning every three weeks. Too many ifs.

The Bernero as closer thing never came from the only real source, and that's Cox. It was media and fantasy site speculation and it turned out to be incorrect. But at the time, it seemed pretty logical as Bernero was pitching really well and Reitsma was having a rough stretch.

As for the current setup, Reitsma is now clearly the main guy nd the best on this list.

I might actually lean to Mac in the second slot. He's been handed the job and is finally pitching with some confidence again. He's never going to be more than mid-tier at the very most, but I grabbed him in two leagues and am pleased with the results.

I don't care for Walker and can see the Giants trying someone else as they fall completely out of the NL West race. And Wagner just doesn't have the job, although I think the Reds ought to just give him the ball and let him get used to the pressure.

reitsma has been solid since taking over as closer. atlanta failed with kolb so perhaps to save face they keep reitsma as their fireman and do not pursue a trade before the deadline to show that they *groomed* him for the job on short notice and he flourished.
