I know he is on the DL, but surgery could end his season. I have not seen any reports on the MRI today?

Going to specialist in Charlotte today for further examination. Out at least 3-4 weeks. Depending on the severity found today, could be the season.

I almost hope that he has to have surgery so I can drop him and not worry about it. It can really handcuff a fantasy team having too many people on the DL, taking up bench spots.

I thought I read he'll see the guy on Friday - and that if surgery was the route (likely), he'd be out two months, not the season. Suffice to say, it'll be at least a month.

Better for him to be told that rest should do the trick such that there's a chance he returns - rather than surgery that could keep him sidelined all year.

If the rest doesn't work, then he's still gone for the season. At least now, there's still a chance - and I like the fact that two doctors advised against surgery.
