in my opinion you have a really solid team, especially for a twelve team league. secondbase might need improving but it is a real shallow position so there may not be a better alternative out there.

Yes. That team is pretty solid. Damn good outfield. Hurry up and deal Bruney, though.

I'm trying to deal Bruney and Hidalgo for Dempster right now. I want Dempster because of His SP/RP eligibility which means that on days that I don't have starters going, I could have my entire staff filled with closers and maybe a setup guy. There are guys on FA that I would feel comfortable losing hidalgo for.

Everything looks pretty solid. I'd dump Bruney for the best FA out there.

I agree, dump Bruney. Only weak spot is 2B. Felipe Lopez of the Reds is hot right now.

So you don't think Biggio will hold up huh?

Some 2b's that are avail are
Mackowiak,
Grudzielanek,
Counsell,
Freel,
Belliard,
Cantu,
Polanco,
Easley,
Relaford
B. Hall

Keep in mind, I really don't need SB's. Out of that bunch, wouldn't you go with Biggio?

I'm thinking of picking up Vidro and putting him in my DL spot when Bedard comes back.

Well Grudzielanek and Freel are playing well right now. Polanco just got traded to the Tigers, so not sure how that will pan out. Macowaki (spelling) had a great May. Biggio is fairly aged, but with the summer heat coming down in Texas, the falls will start getting hit harder. Berkman might shape up more. Biggio is also a fairly discplined hitter.
