How Many Will Huff Steal??

depends on the team he will be getting traded to....

ie. if it's the Red Sox, not too many. Either way, I would consider any steals from Huff a very nice unexpected bonus.

Agreed. ;-D

I didn't draft him for steals, but I'll certainly take them with a smile on my face. :-)

I don't know exactly how many SBs he will end up with, but I have this uneasy suspicion that it will be more than the number of HRs he hits this year - and that makes me sad.

Quite unlikely. Huff's bat always catches fire around this time of year. He'll finish with 14 SB and his customary 25-30 HR, unless, of course, he's hiding some injury. He's way too good of a player to not hit HR.

1. Huff is starting to emerge from his annual spring hibernation. He's hitting liners all over the place and if that continues the power will come around as well.

2. It's pretty clear that Louball '05 is very SB friendly from a fantasy standpoint. Huff has already been on the back end of a handful of double steals. No reason he can't get 15 plus if he stays in TB. You don't have to be a speed merchant to get steals. Obviously, it helps, but good baserunners can get their share even if they're not blessed with hot wheels.
