Guys in my league at 2B...Utley a free agent...

My league only has 7 teams, points system as follows:

1 point per single, sb, walk, hbp, rbi, run
2 points per double and IBB
3 points per triple
4 points per homer

I finally picked up Utley today to stash on my bench. These are guys that are currently starting on teams:

Kent, LAD
Roberts, Bal.
Boone, Sea.
Soriano, Tex.
Biggio, Hou. (Barmes on DL)
Giles, Atl.
F. Lopez, Cin. (at SS)
Figgins, LAA (Vidro on DL)

I was just wondering what you thought of this, and do you see Utley ranking higher than any of these guys? If so, where do you see him ranked at? Thanks all.

I see Utley as a better long-term option than Boone, Figgins, Lopez and Biggio.

...and right now, I'd rather have him than Giles.

I'd say Utley's worth is about the same as a healthy Vidro.

Utley will be better than Boone, Biggio & Felipe Lopez. The others,

Soriano, Roberts, Kents, Figgins, Vidro, Giles are all legitimately ranked ahead of them when healthy b/c of their every day gigs.
