I can't watch this thing because my stupid computer doesn't have speakers, so what better way to watch it then through the cafe!

Seriously though, if I had this thing on in my office my boss might hit me with a phone or something.

Not many people are going to know. The Baseball draft tends to be less important then the NBA or NFL drafts due to prospects not panning out to what is expected most of the time. Also, prospects aren't likely to start producing on a major league level as fast as prospects for other sports.
Yes, I was, uh... I was thinking about ordering the tape, the videotape... about the college girls and the... the wild... the wildness. They're going wild or something? Somebody told me... about going wild.

I know, it's so sad. I love watching prospects develop and following guys through the minors but the MLB draft is really pretty lame.

That was my reaction after seeing Craig Hansen go to Boston. God Damnit. I'm going to be seeing this guy in my nightmares for years to come.

Not exactly a made-for-TV event. Could you imagine the producers scrambling to try to find footage for some right fielder from Yavapai College?

This from http://www.baseballamerica.com/today/20 ... yblog.html :

Tuesday, 1:23 PM: Yankees Like Henry's Upside
by John Manuel

Although thought to be a tough sign due to his basketball prowess, C.J. Henry now seems likely to sign despite a commitment to play basketball at Kansas where his father played basketball. Obviously raw due to splitting his time with basketball, Henry has fantastic tools and scouts are excited about his makeup. A shortstop in high school, his future might be in the outfield but Henry is stubborn about wanting stay at shortstop.
