dude, graves is wretched. i'm talking peace-poor & dung-dirty wretched. his primary pitch is a sinker that won't sink. he will hurt the mets any time he pitches.
i wish i could get paid that kind of money to stink consistently. dang.
I think that's why the Mets took the gamble. If Graves works out he replaces Dejean and becomes Looper's SU man. What are the chances of Peterson helping Graves bounce back? Got me. Hoping for the best.
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey
Yea the bullpen gets hounded unfairly. They have a 3.83 ERA and are #2 in the MLB (78.5%) with IR.

Hernandez has been great, and Looper is underrated and has been solid. Other than that though, I don't have much faith in the pen (being a life long Mets fan, I've seen my fair share of good and bad bullpens). I suppose I am being a little pessimistic, but we will see where the Mets pen stands at the end of the season.
