B.J. Surhoff is batting .432 with three doubles, two triples and six RBIs during a nine-game hitting streak, and .368 in his past 25 games after beginning the season 2-for-22.

i was thinking about dumping a cooling biggio since luis castillo is healthy for him....plus i already have reyes and blum to switch in and out of SB/SS.

i could use a back up for nick johnson with a on and off again hafner.

my question is baltimore's lineup is already crowded. but shurhoff and palmiero are available on my waiver wire. i like surhoff's BA and the way that he has been hitting as of late. a hitting streak and multi-hit games.

who would be a better pickup between palmiero or surhoff?

He is definately hot right now.
