you have decent players, but no one dominant in terms of depth. Plus, some of your players either play on poor teams or are low in the order, which will hurt numbers. I would try and package someone together and try to solidify yourself in at least 1 position in the field.
Can you be more specific as to what players bat low in the order, or that I should be looking to replace.
Keep in mind that it is a NL only league, not a mixed league. I thought it was fairly solid, I have a top 2 or 3 NL catcher in Kendall, the best 2B and SS in the NL, two five tool, top 5 outfielders, and three top 10-15 starting pitchers.
I think your pitching staff needs some help. Your starters are decent but you know that Day and Astacio are probably out for a while. You really need help with your relief pitchers. You only have one closer (now that Mantei and Koplove are on the DL) and the rest are just setup guys. Alfonseca is only worth something if they trade him or demote Borowski, which they won't for now. Stewart likely won't replace Biddle soon but he does post a nice ERA/WHIP.
You batting lineup looks great. Probably on par with the weaker mixed league teams. I would consider trading Vazquez, Ausmus, or Casey for a solid closer and/or starter.

It's a head to head league, so the idea with the starters is that I will use Oswalt, Perez and Miller and possibly Beckett almost all the time, and then just use the other ones based on matchups. Day should be back by June 16, when the league starts.
In an 8 team, NL only league, won't 2 closers be sufficient? Mantei should also be back in time, and although picking up Koplove as security didn't quite work, one of them should be back. There's only 16 NL teams, and SD doesn't have a closer, so there's only 15 closers available for 8 teams. Some teams went a little crazy and started taking shaky closers like Biddle and DeJean too early in the draft, so I grabbed hitters instead. The one thing that could screw me over is if Benitez winds up getting traded to an AL team.
I guess you can gamble on a quick recovery but Mantei is going to give you problems all year. If you have tradable bench players, it might be worth shoring up some of the pitching.
