In one league I am 2nd with 87 pts, the leader with Barmes on his team has 113 pts. Who is his only benched player ? B. Roberts.

Awful way for Barmes's season to end. 3 months equals September, so he's basically done for the year. Real shame since the kid was doing so well.

Going to make rankings next year very interesting though. :-?
Yes doctor, I am sick.
Sick of those who are spineless.
Sick of those who feel self-entitled.
Sick of those who are hypocrites.
Yes doctor, an army is forming.

I wonder if he really injured himself carrying groceries or if it's one of those cover ups like when Kaz Sasaki was injured carrying luggage.

My apologies. I have a nephew named Anfernee, and I know how mad he gets when I call him Anthony. Almost as mad as I get when I think about the fact that my sister named him Anfernee.

You mean you think the Rockies had to come up with some story to cover up the fact that Barmes had lost his fastball and wanted to go back to Japan?

C'mon guy, freak injuries do happen. I once broke an elbow playing touch football.

I bet that's some story. 8-o

Too much starch in the flags, or what? 8-o

You know I'm just messing with you, right ;-) . Curious as to the story behind the broken elbow though. :-)

Not very much to it, actually. Street football, I caught a sideline pass and tripped over the curb. Never got touched.

I messed up an ankle like that. Just stepped on a curb wrong throwing a football around. Had problems with that ankle for years until it finally healed up.

Well he hasn't neccessarily become an injury risk right? :-D I just hope this isn't the start of a long line of freak accidents for Barmes .... :-°
