One bad move I made was dropping Hidalgo before he went on his homer barrage, choosing to keep Austin Kearns instead.

I also drafted Nomar Garciaparra at SS. In this league, we use OBP and SLG and not AVG. Garciaparra hit .157/.218/.176 for me before getting injured. I picked up Jose Reyes. He hit .247/.284/.309 for me, then I dropped him. I picked up Juan Uribe. He's hit .217/.217/.250 for me so far and I can't drop him until Monday.

For the season, my shortstop spot has hit .216/.249/.260 with 18 runs, 0 HR, and 15 RBI. Just pitiful.

Meanwhile, Cesar Izturis, Felipe Lopez, Khalil Greene, Omar Vizquel, and David Eckstein are free agents, and Bobby Crosby was just picked up by the guy who lost Clint Barmes to injury.
Roger Angell: I was talking with Bob Gibson and I said: 'Are you always this competitive?' He said: 'Oh, I think so. I got a three-year old daughter, and I've played about 500 games of tic-tac-toe with her and she hasn't beat me yet.'

My worst move is basically a non-move. Was offered D. Lee and Cliff Lee for Clemens and Delgado and turned it down. Now the guy says D. Lee is untouchable. Trade is not as lopsided as it seems because it's a keeper and I lose Clemens after this year. Oh yeah, I also paid $36 for Oliver Perez thinking he would be my stud anchor after watching Pedro go for $32 thinking he was an old, 5 innings only pitcher.
Finally The Rock has come back....to New York City!!
