Why is my hitting so bad?

Yahoo Roto, 10 teams, non keeper

C - Victor Martinez
1B - Paul Konerko
2B - Rob Mackowiak
3B - Melvin Mora
SS - Pedro Feliz
OF - Jim Edmonds
OF - Manny Ramirez
OF - Johnny Damon
Util - Vernon Wells
BN - Mike Sweeney
BN - Paul Lo Duca

SP - Roger Clemens
SP - John Smoltz
SP - Mark Buehrle
SP - Bartolo Colon
SP - Chris Carpenter
SP - Kelvim Escobar
RP - Trevor Hoffman
RP - Eric Gagne
RP - Ryan Dempster

I just picked up Martinez and Wells because they've been hot. I'm last in BA; slow starts have KILLED me: this is a team that's sported the likes of Mike Lowell, Konerko, Manny, Johnny Estrada, Orlando Cabrera, Tony Womack, Adam Dunn (recently traded straight up for Edmonds) and Bret Boone.

I just dropped Womack recently who was helping me out in steals a bit but he hurt me way too much in other catagories, since I'm trying desperately to improve my BA. Without him my only real steals threat is Damon and Boston doesn't run him that much.

I offered Wells for Reyes but I don't think that will get accepted, though the guy has had Reyes benched for a while so there is a chance since he is hurting in power.

Guys on waivers with speed:
Taveras
Womack
Logan
Vizquel
Sanders

I've thought about taking a gamble by dropping Feliz for Vizquel but I don't think he'll steal too many.

I'm not doing too well in my power numbers but I think that can easily be turned around once some of my guys start to really get hot. My pitching has been pretty good, I'm near the top in all of those catagories, but everything offensively has been pretty weak for some reason. Any suggestions? Will help you.
I'm a firm believer in the philosophy of a ruling class... especially since I rule.
