Im trying to deal pavano for a better catcher, my middle infield is the problem right now, Boone is on the FA list, so is he worth getting to put Barmes at SS and Boone at 2B or should i be looking another direction? Right now my team is moving south in a hurry!!!!

I would pickup Boone like you said, but its not like that move will rapidly turn your team around. And yes, your weakness is catcher. Isnt there anything available on the free agent list, its only a ten team league. Good luck.

well i didnt get huff, so i think im pretty much screwed, cause it went to the guy in second place. the two people in first and second now are just about garunteed to never move from those positions. the following catchers from FA are:
Kendall
Barrett
Lieberthal
B. Molina
LaRue
D. Miller
M. Lecroy
Barajas
Greene
J. Phillips - and it just gets worse from there

I don't like any of those catchers better than Zaun. I would stick with what you got and just try to ride out the injuries a little bit more. I might try to trade a starting pitcher for another hitter, but only if I were getting fair value in return.

as for picking up boone and switching barmes over to SS, you would basically be picking up boone in place of greene.

I don't know if I would do that. I had Boone last year and I just didn't like the way he performed. I think I like Greene better.
