i need help getting out of the basement in my league

here my rosters.. give me any suggestions on what i should do.

1st- delgado
2nd- counsell
3rd- mcpherson,
ss- izurtis
lf- m cabera
cf- edomonds
rf- ichiro
util- giles

bench: a hil(toronto), Mackowiak , f.lopez(cincy), scott rolen, and jim thome


pitching:

5 starters, 2 any type pitching
matt moris, kenny rogers, b. colon, hasley(d-backS), smoltz
b.j ryan, hermanson


bench: sheets, moyer, moyer, lidge, and bedard

only legit player on waiver is cordero from washington..

I am not sure what i can do with the rosters. should i pick up victor martinez to start instead of irod

pick up Cordero for your pitching.....theres got to be an upgrade at 2nd and 3rd over those two guys, of course im baised against counsell because the second i put him in my lineup he throws away three balls against the mets, so he's off my team. for an 8 team league, your middle infield is a little weak. i would say try to trade Rolen for a better starting pitcher and if nobody takes, then trade Thome and a starter for a stud pitcher if you can.

not one is audrey huff from tampa and morgan ensberg from houston. u think i can drop jamie moyer or should i try to trade him. what person should i drop for cordero?

i just picked up micheal young and i am gonna start him instead of izurtis. then i am also starting mcpherson. what other moves should i do

Look to some young pitching talent like Davies in ATL or Young in TX.
Counsell's #'s have him way overrated. In an 8 team league, check the WW for Neifi Perez or Freel. I would even consider seeing if you can get someone to bite on a I-Rod for Vmart trade. VMart is just beginning his smackin' of AL pitching.
