Why the hell is Kendall #9?

He's done nothing this year to deserve that ranking.

haha seriously. Even I, as the biggest Padres fan ever, would rather have Varitek on my fantasy team than Hernandez.

as a hernandez owner this year, i'll take him as a waiver pickup after the season began and my 6th round pick intact instead of drafting a catcher ...

i always fill that slot late as there is ALWAYS a sleeper who ends up top 3 and very rarely, since piazzy and posada faded, a catcher worth drafting that you can count on ...

this year - ramon hernandez - waiver (first to date ...)
last year - vmart - waiver (title)
2 years ago - javy - waiver (title)

Too bad my other catcher, #4, just started hitting again for me :-/

Only one of them survives on my team }:-)

I agree. A .241 avg with 0 HR's and a .603 OPS should put him around #20 at best. He has been pathetic this season, so bad that even Jason Larue has to be a better fantasy play at this point.

Todd Greene needs to be on the list. He doesn't get as much PT, but he outproduces guys like Pat Borders even with less time. I picked him up to sub in for Mauer and got a superb day today. With this extended homestand, I'll happily insert him even though he'll play about half the time.

Why's Estrada that high? He hasn't been performing too well this year and if they're going by past performance, V-Mart should certainly be higher.
