Did Alfonso Soriano get injured?
Was anyone watching the game? I just traded for him last night <img src=/forums/images/smiles/kiss.gif>

He left the game with some kind of injury though.
I need to know because i traded Kent and Batista for him just last night...and the trade hasn't gone through yet. If this is a real injury I need to get it vetoed and fast.

Correct. Still in that person's best interest to get it vetoed, though.

Yeah it's in his best interest....but there is absolutely no grounds for a veto of this trade. If this trade got vetoed I'd be pissed if I was the other dude.
Barry Bonds for US president.

Alfonso Soriano is day-to-day with a bruise on the back of his left leg. Soriano left today's game after being hit by a pitch. ''It's same leg he had problems with earlier, but a different place,'' manager Buck Showalter said. ''I think he's OK from the hit by pitch. He got a pretty good blow from being hit in the back (of leg). We have an off day (Monday) and we'll reevaluate tomorrow.''

i don't ussually think an injury should effect a trade unless its really serious and will require a long dl stint

Even then, if it's been accepted, tough luck. That's the way it goes and a risk you take when you make a trade.
