Did those reports say whether he was actually catching any of those grounders? His defensive inadequacies will ensure that he is a very poor play when there is no DH. I wouldn't risk playing him this week.
Yes, the Injuns have Broussard(sp) at 1B who isn't a handicap at the plate and can field his position. Hafner will probably be used in pinch-hitting roles only during interleague play. IMO.
Ugh. I totally dropped the ball on this one. I forgot all about it and started him in my weekly league. Hopefully it works out for the best.
