Keep an eye on this kid, pirates just called him up he was a minor league catcher, but could play OF/1B/C in the bigs. Hes a pretty nice power hitter, hitting 330ish in the minors with 12 jacks.

My first year in fantasy I drafted Delgado, when he was just like this, also guys who have had some nice years while qualifying as C's are Phelps, Nevin, and C.Wilson.

Doumit could be next years guy to add to that list

finally someone else noticed him, look for him to play at least the next week everyday, depending on how he does, could determine his playing time the rest of the year. The Pirates show a lot of confidence in him already, as he has hit 4th each of the last 2 games. Will definately play all this week with them traveling to the AL, and if Pittsburgh is able to move Lawton or Redman, then he wont have to play behind the dish too often increasing his value

He has huge sleeper value next year in my opinion they will have a spot for him, 1B or OF depending on where Wilson is gonna play

This kid was brought up to replace wigginton. He is really hitting the ball well. I think the pirates may use him in the DH role for interleague play. We shall see if this hot start is just a fluke or if he will stay hot enough to remain with the club

Yeah I was reading an article on him a few minutes ago. The skipper is all giddy about finally having some talent called up. I could use some help at catcher.
I got Weeks and now this guy to get excited about now.

If Doumit stays up, how much play will he get at the catcher position? He might be worth going after (in my league) if he can retain his catcher eligibility for next year.

I've also heard that he might get sent down after interleague play is done, but with the way he's looked so far, I could see them extending that stay as well.
