I disagree. I actually think that now's the time to trade him if you can get another owner to believe that he'll be able to do this all year long. What you have to hope for is that the other owner forgot why he was taken so late in the first place: injury concerns.
Guardado opted NOT to have surgery on his shoulder that sidelined him last season. He is no less a risk now than he was to begin this season, but it's just that he's pitched so well. Who is to say that the shoulder problem won't pop up again.
And the Mariners will only generate more opportunities for him as the season goes on. Beltre doesn't suck this badly.
