Who will get most of the starts, Johnson or Catalanato?

It seems like a rotation among Johnson, Cat and Rios which means 4-5 starts per guy per week while they're all going well. Not good for those own them, although in daily Yahoo leagues where you can change lineups till nearly game time it's not as bad.

It's generally a platoon. Johnson got some starts against righties when Frank C. was off on bereavement leave. Since he hit the ball pretty well, it looks like thehat is right, that it will be 3 OFs rotating through 2 spots. Of course if Aaron Hill ever stopped hitting, the DH spot might open up, too (Hill is DH or 3B, Hillenbrand plays DH when Hill starts at 3B).

I hope Aaron Hill will keep it, but I think he'll slow down some - it's already started on this roadtrip.

Some alarming splits: Hill on the road is hitting .200, against lefties only .222.

He always had a good eye at the plate in the minors, took a lot of walks. I don't really see him being a consistent .300 hitter in the majors at this point.

reed had 131 ABs this year and frank the cat has 132...talk about sharing playing time. i think this has worked well for the jays so far (reed vs. righties and the cat vs. lefties) and they will continue to do so...but this makes both johnson and catalanotto not good fantasy options...well unless you got them both.

hill is a rookie...he's likely to struggle at times. he's yet to play a game at SS though and now that the jays go to the NL...he'll lose PT. hillenbrand will be the 3B and i imagine adams and hill will share the duties at SS.
