Well now that he has the job for prob till the end of the year is he worth a pick up or should i forget about him cause of how week oakland has been.
I am kinda iffy on picking him up just cause the team is not winning.

definately pick Street up, he's light out.
Also, I don't think the A's are as bad as the media makes them out to be. Dotel blew 2 straight saves against the Red sox during their 1st long losing streak. Now if Street were pitching and he gets them the 2 wins against the world champions, it would have done wonders for this young & inexperienced team.
Chavez is heating up, Crosby is back from the dl, Durazo, Calero and Harden will soon be back. I think street is definately worth a spot.

He doesn't really have much competition for the job. I doubt Calero will get it.

Street will be the closer for the rest of the season, and the Athletics will be at least a .500 team the rest of the way with Crosby back and Harden returning soon.

Dont forget about the W he picked up earlier this week too. This guy's great

This field, this game, it's a part of our past, Ray. It reminds of us of all that once was good and it could be again. Oh people will come Ray, people will most definitely come.

i said a couple months ago when he broke camp with the team that he'd be their closer eventually, but i didnt think it would be this quickly...hope he stays healthy and saves 300+ or so for his career.
