To me my prom was nothing special.
Limo, NYC for drinks, then down to Jones Beach for some nookie.
My date/ girlfriend was a true biatch, smoking though. I ended up breaking up with her a few days later so that I could take advantage of a summer of opportunity.
I'm sure Amazinz was talking about whale watching.
Do you still go to Smith's Point? Try catching the band Zone. They play there on Thursdays duing the summer sometimes. Great guitarist. When he was 17, his fomer band warmed up for Ozzy years ago.

Two different people. The best friend turned out to be a lesbian but at the time I was too naive to realize.

I go back to LI at least once a year but haven't been to Smith's Point since the late 90s.

yah.. my proms friday... i decided to be an idiot and be nice and take this girl who didnt have a date, shes really chill and people like her, shes just fat and not hot... which completly goes against my standards.. but peer pressure of girls sucks..
but the after party will be fun and plenty of girls there, i shouldnt have a problem

Happened to my good friend this year. This guy gets super hot girls, but was practically forced into going with this other, not good-looking girl.
He's walking in the hall when she asks him if he'd found a date yet. He said not yet and then she said "why don't we just go together". He was quite bummed.
That happened to me at my Junior Prom, except I was the dude that some chick settled for. Needless to say i got totally ditched once we arrived and I had payed.
My senior prom was me, the traditional hot, easy girl, and the flu.
I got to the after-party feeling a little funny. I took my first shot of Goldschlager and proceeded to puke my guts all over the place for the rest of the night.
