advice needed, im stuck

for some reason injuries and whatevers have made my team not the offensive punch i think it should be. also astros dont ever score and sheets ear is nuts and he doesnt win a ton either make me wonder if i want to start trading aces for closers and power and punt Wins for Saves and try to keep my whip era and k/9 top notch?

stat cats are R, HR, RBI, SB, FPCT,AVG, OBP, W, SV, K, ERA, WHIP, K/9

all advice for what to do is welcomed, my team has been in consistant change so lets hear it. all strats welcomed to hear.

I think it is not a bad idea, but realize that you probably will lose Ks each week too. If you can obtain some good middle relievers and closers you potentally can win S, ERA and WHIP each week. Some high K releivers (Lidge, FCordero, KRod) could help your K/9.

If you think your offense can get strong enough to routinely win 5 of the 7 offensive cats then I say move forward with your strategy.

I say hold tight. Wins suck, we have considered eliminating it from our league just cant find another decent category, but here's some things to keep in mind

Your Offense looks good
Sheets just needs another start or 2 to get on track
Zito will prolly be traded to a playoff team, (SD hopefully) and could pile up the wins in Petco
Lieber pitches in a bad pitchers park, I might try to move him
Sabathia (what happened to Clev this year)
Clemens/Oswalt both will get theres Clemens may end up in Texas getting 12runs a game, but both are too valuable in K's/Era/Whip to move.
Radke, Twins need consistency outta their lineup and he will be fine

I actually like your team a lot. You got a bunch of good pitchers that even if they aren't winning still contribute positively in other cats ERA, WHiP, etc. You've got a real solid offence. Watch out for Chone he's going to go on a tear real soon. The only part I'd be worried about is your Outfielders not named Matsui. Hideki will do what he does 30HR 100 RBIs. The others I predict might slow down. Especially Burrell. Now might be a good time to trade him. I'm not sure if its at all possible if Drew can slow down. If so he'd most likely not be moving at all. I'd check the waivers and see if there is a better option then him for OF. Maybe a Mench, Hollins type guy is still free?
