Ok. Why would you trade 2 relievers for a guy who can't get out my mother? Fine ok let's trade another one for a young prospect. Ok I trade for a MR but I like putting my closer in the 8th inning and having him get shelled. Then the Giants wonder why they're gonna be joining the Rockies in the cellar of the NL West. Barry needs to recommend the Giants' pitching staff to BALCO.
Please help me out...

i'm a little lost with where you were going with this post. While i don't know that the hawkins for aardsma and williams trade will pan out especially in the longterm i still think hawkins has some good stuff. I wouldn't go as far as saying they are in the cellar of the NL west just yet because you have to remember that it is the weakest division in the NL.

what ever ...
Is anybody outside of St Louis even playing .500 ball over in the central?

Padres are the only decent team in that division. Don't take it as a knock against the Padres.
