In that case, it's probably worth figuring out just how effective pitching will be this year. Particularly in head-to-head leagues, starting pitching can be dominant...

the problem with Kent is that he won't be driving in near as many of the runs as bagwell and Berkman. I think he will be doing well to drive in more than 110 rbis this year. I'm staying away from him if he goes in the first 2 rounds.

I would say the same about kent. I think he's a 3-4 rounder...
True you would be pick'n up great players at ss and 2b but you will be losing out on the top RBI and HR hitters in the game...

Soriano will not be there, or shouldn't be- sorry. But if he's there grab him up... He's a 5 star player, when Arod is not anymore...
I would also look at Perdo for your second pick, but Im a BoSox fan.
good luck

Look at both Pujols and Pedro if they are avialable. I would guess that Soriano is going to be gone.

From what you said here is my deduction:

Hitters: Soriano but prolly wont be there, Sosa, Pujols are good picks

Pitchers: Pedro and Zito

personally in your spot id go Pedro and (Soriano or Sosa)

Here's how you do it:
1. Sosa
2. Soriano
3. Pedro
4. Schilling
5. Pujols
Zack Greinke...the next Greg Maddux. LOOK IT UP!
For what it's worth.

I like Jays 5. Soriano a must, but i doubt hes there. I prefer Sosa next, but you really cant go wrong with Pedro/Helton/Pujols. Leagues are won in the middle and late rounds, everyone comes out ok in the top part of draft.
