although i have oswalt, hudson, and mulder to cover for him, I too am missing harden's pitching...

He has a strained oblique muscle, which really is a tough injury for a pitcher. He's said to be almost pain free and he'll begin throwing off a mound soon. I expect the A's to be ultra-cautious with their young, golden arm, and I'm guessing it'll be 3-4 weeks before he returns to action.
