Should I sit on this team or make some moves?

Postby Mike650 » Fri Jun 03, 2005 4:54 pm

Hi, I will be happy to analize your team... but I don't know if I will have much to contribute. I am new to Fantasy Baseball so take my advice with a grain of salt.

This week I aquired a ton of new players through trades and my team looks a lot different. Going into this week I was about first in batting stats overall and close to last in pitching. I think I finally have the pitching I need (Santana). Do you agree? Should I just sit on my heels for a bit and see what happens or make some deals? (Mackowiak is hot right now and maybe a little over valued).

My league allows daily moves. In terms of general stratagey should I be starting all of the pitchers I have when they are making a start or just stick with the top 4,5,6,7 and ditch the rest or keep them on the bench? Starting lots of pitchers could pay off in wins and QS but risks ERA losses?

Any other tips for my team, analysis of what my stratagey should be to move up in my league, or comments of any kind would be greatly appreciated. This is my first season playing fantasy baseball and following baseball generally, sometimes this makes it hard for me to distinguish between great players and those who have just been hot this season. Anyway, its been great fun so far this is an awesome forum!

Thanks!
Mike (team info below)

You know your team is good when you are first in both HRs and SBs. You have a really even team between speed and power. Sit on it.
