Music on a webpage?

Postby RynMan » Fri Jun 03, 2005 9:02 am

Does anyone know any tricks to adding music to a webpage? Im pretty good with web design and understand mp3, midi and all that.....just wanna know if there is a way other sites compress their music to the point where they are small enough to load quickly?

I know how to add a small Windows Media music player on a webpage .... is that what you're asking for?

A midi file is the most common compressed file used on webpages. Just use the <embed> and then the <noembed> with a link to give people who use non-compliant browsers an option to listen to the music.
