You and me both. I've been going w/out a catcher for the last couple weeks in my deep keepers league since I've got so many injured guys that eat up actual roster space and I cannot drop -- as they'll probably get snapped up. And I'm slowly falling behind in the dogfight in that league. Problem is when I did try to look for help earlier off the WW (and could spare the roster space), guys like Zaun and Fick (and even Doumit) did zilch for me. And of course, *after* I decided to give up on Zaun, who's actually been not bad overall, he starts hitting again. Coulda really used his bat the last few weeks, but I'm not gonna try again since he'll probably just go back to doing zilch again.

Just be glad that it sounds like Lopez has finally gotten to point of being able to play assuming there are no further setbacks. And pray for him to heat up quickly and stay hot the rest of the year.

I picked VMart up off the waiver wire when Javy went down. He was at his season low at that point, but he's paid off big time. I'll be using him at utility a little once Javy comes back.

Man, is he a stud or what?! First game back and already producing big for me in my keeper (XR) points league -- generated a save opp for me too as I own Ryan in that league. Makes me feel much better about going w/out a catcher there for ~2 weeks.
