Left after just 2 ABs today. Replaced by LeCroy. What happened?

News: Justin Morneau was removed in the 5th inning of Thursday's game against Cleveland with a left elbow strain. He was replaced by Matt LeCroy.

Analysis: Morneau will be re-evaluated after the game. The extent of his injury is unknown at this time.

The X-Rays are negative. He injured himself by hitting from a tee during today's warmup.

Listened to KFan, the local sports radio station in minnesota and they are saying morneau is not playing tonight
