Randy Johnson - what's wrong with him?

Postby WharfRat » Wed Jun 01, 2005 9:25 pm

I don't live in the NYC area anymore, so I can't listen to/watch the same kind of coverage that others might. Has anybody in the NY media or anywhere revealed any kind of insight to his pitching problems? I hear all the stuff about the weather, is there anything else?

well if you watched any of the game today, you would see that some of the hits he gave up were cheap ones, like the doubles to berroa. He is still throwing the ball quite hard, so I don't know what the problem is....

Randy is old and I bet you his knee is giving him slight problems again. Couldn;t even dominate the Brewers. A team he should have struck out 10 easily. He had I think 8 k's but 2 of them were the opposing pitcher. Really not good. :-[ CAn we get Halsey back?

The Yankees have been sheisted in every trade they've made since 2002. Mmmmmm I wonder why that could be. Let me see. Could the problem be ___________________! Fill in the blank

I wouldnt be surprised if he gets his act together for the 2nd half. April and May have historically been his worst months and maybe the hot NY summer will loosen up his old body.
