ok, sorry for the bad title, but how bout Brian Giles? I was down on him last year (rightfully so) and again to start this year. However, when people started dropping him outright, I started grabbing him, cause I knew he wasn't THAT bad. Man am I glad I did... 25 runs, 24 RBIs, 4 dingers, 2 SB, and a .379 average for the month of May.

I'm not expecting this to continue, but it sure is nice while it lasts.

What are people expecting out of him for the rest of the year?

very true, but you've got to hope that his recent boom carries over a bit and gets the "home park" thing out of his head. Sure, Petco is nasty to hitters, but it isn't THAT nasty...

He should finish around 90 R & RBI and 25 HR w/ his 290-300 avg and +400 obp

After going ape-$h!t on that recent road trip, he's carried the momentum over to a 0-6 start back at Petco this week (3 walks, though, for you OBP guys).
I'm beginning to believe that park is inside his head. If this keeps up, he may turn into a sort of reverse-Coors play ... where he's only useful on the road.
