Howdy cafe,
So for the absolute hell of it I'm doing a yahoo public league mid-season draft today. Since I've never done one before, I was trying to think of what strategy to use, anyone done this before and ahve thoughts?
I figure to possibly get more bargins in this draft then normal, as say Jim Thome will hopefully fall farther (It's becoming apparent that I have a crush on him, as I've taken him in almost every league.) Is it harder to wait on saves in a mid-season draft, as closers pretty much have come out and shown who they are?
Comments appreciated!!
...Boston papers now and then suffer a sharp flurry of arithmetic on this score; indeed, for Williams to have distributed all his hits so they did nobody else any good would constitute a feat of placement unparalleled in the annals of selfishness. -Updike
