Jun 1 Athletics.MLB.com's Mychael Urban reports Oakland Athletics RP Kiko Calero (elbow) threw 25 pitches in a simulated game on Tuesday, May 31 and said his elbow feels fine. "It's perfect," Calero said. "No pain at all. Everything is the way we hoped it would be." He will start for Triple-A Sacramento on Wednesday, June 1, and plans to pitch one inning. He then plans to pitch an inning or two again on Friday, June 3 for the same minor-league affiliate. Calero is expected to be able to join the Athletics on Saturday, June 4, or Sunday, June 5.
