Rotoworlds top 250 for June...........

Postby gws226 » Wed Jun 01, 2005 1:44 am

I always find it interesting how the "experts" rank em......... I've actually found Rotoworld to be pretty damn good @ its pre-season selections....

5X5

http://rotoworld.com/content/features/c ... &column=14

#20 Gagne up 11
#23 Clemens up 12
#25 Beltre down 9 (guess they committed to him too ;))
#31 Peavy up 24 (johan, clemens, RJ, sheets, hudson, Oswalt all ahead)
#33 Chavez down 3?
#55 Rolen down 29? interest chavez, beltre this high, with Rolen due back in a couple of weeks
Vernon Wells #34 Go Vernon!
#63 Brian Roberts---> no respect (soriano, Giles, Kent all ahead)
#75 Hafner down 15 (might as well make it 275 :-D )
#85 Bonds (logical)
#102 Cameron!! *up 82!
#124 Dotel Finally they recongize a bust
#168 Pettite (hampton @ 174)
#188 Nick Johnson (always a steal :)) F. Thomas @ 184
#213 Kevin Brown----> Erik Bedard @ 231!

And the most noted missing from the top 250............ The Gambler!!! :D

Well, I gotta admit their high Vernon Wells ranking was part of the reason I had him in there today, and he'll probably stay there awhile.

Anyone else notice how Victor Martinez is still the #1 rated catcher? It's good to know that SOMEBODY still has faith in my 6th round draft pick...

these rankings basically scrap any stats up to this point. it is entirely based on numbers produced from june to october. knowing that they make more sense.
