Ryan Ludwick got DFAed when Juan Gone got called back up. Assuming Juan goes back to the DL, can the Indians bring back Ludwick, or is he in DFA limbo for 10 days no matter what?

pretty sure they could option him back to the Minors.

The Indians would have optioned him down if that option was left, but unfortunately it was not. I probably should have mentioned that. I found an AP article about Juan/Ludwick though that doesn't mention anything about a player being DFAed being able to be put back on the Major League Roster, so I guess that answers my question. Also in that same article I found what Juan said rather amusing.
"Supposedly for me, I'm healthy right now,'' Gonzalez said before the game. "We'll see what happens.''

I think they designated the wrong player. Does this remind anyone else of the Kids in the Hall skit where the wimp keeps getting up after getting his ass kicked over and over?
