He was pulled and now Millar is in the OF, and Olerud took over 1st. Any news on what happened?

he hit his head on the wall out in center. They took him out as a precautionary measure because of the headaches he suffer after his collision in the '03 ALCS. He should be fine.

yeah, he hit the wall hard, but didn't seem to injure anything in particular - just seemed like he couldn't shake the cobwebs out. He finished the inning in the field and then they pulled him as precautionary.

But yes, I am a Damon owner too and my heart skipped a beat when he barrelled into that dead man's corner out there... damn you Fenway Park!

I wonder if that nasty collision in '03 has made him more susceptible to concussions and whatnot. I hope not for his sake, that's scary stuff.

The ESPN in game field reporter said he's day-to-day. As a Damon owner I'd say it looked worse than it was and that he may miss a game or two, nothing long-term.
